REGENERATION 101: Healing INJURIES Like Nothing Ever Happened
Preamble. 10 days ago doing some stretching exercises I got carried away and, while trying ‘Namaste’ behind my back, all of a sudden heard a loud cracking sound coming from my right shoulder followed by sharp pain. That unmistakable sound of a torn or severely sprained ligament… And my first thought, “How could I be so stupid?! I am not 20 anymore, and rotator cuff injuries are so difficult to heal!”
Of course, I have the technologies, and now, only a few days later after not being able to move my arm for more than 20-30 degrees, I am 95% back to normal, but that’s no excuse. I should’ve known better, I should’ve been more careful with my body. It’s the only one I have, and keeping it in good shape is my direct responsibility (which I obviously neglected).
So now I have to make absolutely sure my rotator cuff injury heals “like nothing ever happened”, no less. Why? That’s what I want to talk to you about – and also how I am going to accomplish it.
In other words, let’s learn to REGENERATE. Interested? Read on 🙂
… We are so reckless, when we are young. We think we are invincible and going to live forever. We expose our bodies to all sorts of challenges and dangers and, when it is injured, we let it heal just enough for us to continue our crazy ride… over and over again. And then, as time passes, the old wounds start surfacing, one after another, and altogether. They chain and age us, and cause us to wise up – unfortunately, on the most part too late. Old scars are there to stay…
Why is that happening – and is there any other way? Actually, there is, but in order to see it you need to understand the body’s inner intelligence, trust it, and be willing and able to assist without interfering.
That’s not as easy as you think. Old stereotypes and dogmas will get in a way (believe me, I know that first hand), and some things I am suggesting will seem weird, counter-intuitive, or downright dangerous. That’s why I said, “let’s LEARN to regenerate”. Bear with me; try to see the logic behind my recommendations – they are based on experience. And then, try it – and see what happens 🙂
That’s why I chose INJURIES for Regeneration 101: we all have them (to one degree or another), the body is naturally working on healing them, and if, God forbid, you ever get one again, it will be easy and quick for you to see the results of your “regeneration practice”. If you succeed, it should be “like nothing ever happened” – no trace of the former injury, fully functioning part of your body without any aches and pains, for the rest of your life.
…You see, our bodies are fragile and easily injured. To balance that weakness, Mother Nature has equipped us with powerful self-healing mechanisms and even an ability to fully regenerate the injured structures (complete regeneration). Theoretically speaking, we do have a potential to regrow not only tissues, but also organs, but practically… Practically what we get more often than not are SCARS, which do not only affect our appearance, but majorly affect the flow of energy in the body causing degenerative changes.
Scar (incomplete regeneration) is the body’s compromise, quick mending of an injury with connective tissue (fibrosis) in order to continue functioning. The body’s default drive is to preserve its energy resources, and it takes much less energy to form a scar than to fully regenerate the damaged structure. Complete regeneration is extremely energy consuming and requires a certain state of the energo-informational matrix. The body rarely has the luxury of meeting both of these conditions. Hence, scaring is unavoidable… or is it?
When an injury or trauma happens, the energo-informational matrix of that part of the body does not get destroyed right away along with the physical structure. The non-material “phantom” of the undamaged organ will be still present for a while, as was shown by Dr. Robert Becker and described in his books “The Body Electric” and “Cross Currents”. Therefore, here is our chance!
If we supply the injured body with enough coherent energy (Low Level LASER) while preserving the energo-informational matrix (SOLARIS Blanket) and accelerating the healing process (SCENAR/COSMODIC), complete regeneration may be possible! We have seen amazing examples of it on many occasions. (No, we cannot regenerate the lost limbs or teeth yet, but I believe this time will come sooner than we think.)
What also follows from above is that the sooner after injury or trauma you apply your Healing FUSION devices the better chance you have for complete regeneration. And, BTW, in these circumstances there is no limit to the treatment frequency and duration: the more the better.
I had the Slider x3 and the QLaser with 808 Enhancer on my rotator cuff twice a day for 40-60 min at a time for the first three days. Longer and more often would be better; I just didn’t have a chance. After three days I was 70-80% better, got lazy, and cut therapy to once a day – WRONG! And my body let me feel that right away. Back to twice a day, for a shorter time – and now, a week later, I have a full range of motion and barely feel anything.
So am I done? Not by a long shot! Stopping therapy at this point would be a standard response of a super-busy contemporary man – and it would be a BIG mistake, which I am not about to make.
You see, the fact that I don’t have symptoms does not mean that healing is complete. Regeneration of structures takes time; especially when you are not a spring chicken anymore (alas!) and when you are trying to heal a sprained or torn ligament, which is typically very slow on healing. If you stop supporting regeneration before it is completed, the body will immediately revert to its “default drive”, to a less energy-consuming mending process of forming a scar… and we all know what are the chances of turning that scar into an organ tissue.
Hence, the only way to avoid the scar formation is to support regeneration ALL THE WAY, from the moment injury happens to the point when the function is FULLY restored and NO symptoms occur – and for a while after that, like maintenance, just to be on a safe side. After all, we are only LEARNING to regenerate; we don’t know all about it yet.
So, let’s summarize. While healing injuries:
- Start as soon as possible, while the energo-informational matrix of the original structure is still there.
- Minimize any disturbing influences on the body, especially on a fragile energo-informational level (EMFs; toxins; mental, emotional, or physical stress etc.). We highly recommend the SOLARIS Blanket; you can do other therapies WHILE in it.
- Give the body enough nutrients as the building blocks of new structures (think-through and increase your vitamins and supplements intake, use organic food, juicing etc.).
- Keep feeding the body with bioenergy, the more the better, in various forms. The coherent energy of a resonating Low Level LASER is invaluable.
- Use SCENAR or, better yet, COSMODIC to guide and accelerate the healing process.
- Gently challenge the body during regeneration; keep slightly provoking the function you are restoring.
The last point is very important. The body is wise and intelligent in allocating its limited resources, and if you don’t show it that a certain function is needed, it is not going to bother restoring that function and growing a structure to support it.
Of course, the level of “provocation” is highly individual and depends a lot on a type and degree of injury. For example, you don’t want to re-injure a structure that has been torn or cut; the body needs a chance to mend pieces without you constantly pulling them apart. Just try to work WITH the body and be wise about it.
- Do NOT overuse painkillers and anti-inflammatory. In fact, the less you use them the better.
Pain is GOOD, because it prevents you from doing more damage to the body and attracts yours and your body’s attention to the problem, thus speeding up healing and creating more favourable conditions for it. Pain is not your enemy; it is your body’s scream for help and an indicator of your healing progress. Don’t make your body mute – it does not like being muted (and who does?)
Inflammation is GOOD. Inflammation is the only way for the body to bring enough resources to the injured area to rebuild the damaged structures. Less inflammation – less “building supplies”. So think twice before swallowing ibuprofen: you are not only damaging your stomach, but also substantially slowing down regeneration. (NOTE: I am not talking here about a secondary infection, which sometimes accompanies open wounds and certainly needs to be fought; only about a typical post-injury inflammation.)
- Continue therapy well after the function is restored and there are no more symptoms, even with slight provocation. Regeneration takes time. In our estimates, at least three months from the time of injury, and may be more, if trauma is extensive. Daily treatments are not necessary, but you should be in the “maintenance mode”.
So that’s your Regeneration 101. See if that way you can achieve healing “like nothing ever happened” – and if you succeed, reward yourself, because you just made a big step towards learning how to work as a team with the body. That’s a lost art, which, I hope, all Home Healers will eventually revive and master.
Just imagine the possibilities…
To your health and happiness,
Dr. Irina
P.S. Low Level LASER does not need any special instructions for its use on fresh injuries; just shine its coherent light directly on the injured spot, the more the better. If, however, you need the exact protocol for SCENAR, here is a good example – my old video of how to use the DOVE scenar for deep muscle contusions.
